Basic Molar Problems

The following molar problems are pictures of actual cases taken at the Academy of Equine Dentistry during wet lab sessions. Most molar problems inhibit lateral excursion and anterior posterior (rostral/caudal) movement of the mandible, creating mastication and performance deficiencies. In addition many cheek teeth problems create soft tissue damage.
